Who is teaching in the DVD? Maybe some folks have insight? I'd be surprised if the DVD gave the same amount of information as a live instructor training. If so, that would be saving you a ton of time and money. But, I agree with you, there's not a ton of written info on what's covered in the DVD.

I got my shipping conformation today for the DVD so we shall see! I feel like I know the gist based on online reading so I'm hoping this will give me a pretty complete idea. It would definitely be interesting to get your perspective.

Then I went up to each ball, used the proper finger aiming method, and sunk each putt on the 1st try. It's easy when you have a digital level though! Would the outer edge of the last finger be the aimpoint or are you turning your fingers to get a clearer picture of what you're aiming at? It sounds like the only thing the DVD has to offer over this video is double breaks and some kind of conversion for the distance to finger relationship.

I think his basic explanation is enough to get me started with practicing the technique, then I would feel better paying for training to refine the feel and calibration later. Everything you will find online about aimpoint will give you a taste for what it has to offer but it's an exact science and you need to know all of the details on how to apply the simple fundamentals. It's all pretty easy but theres a few main key points that if you don't follow exactly then you are just guessing.
